another tire question

I want to run 22" semis on the s10 and I started tubbing the firewall.I used a 29" tire to check for clearance but can I get a 22 a little smaller that will work on the semis?

the diameter of the tire measures 29" and the width is 8"

255/30/22s will work fine on an S10...I ran them on my dually for a while and that is what is on it now. You could probably even use the 245/30/22s on the sdime and still be good to roll.
