how to safely relocate a barrery?

Nobody is mad........just admitting i type too fast and not an excellent speller...but he did put his hood on backwards.....and I can laugh at my own mistakes...(along with everyone else)

Scott, No hard feeling brother, it's all in fun. When I relocated my batteries, I positioned the batteries and my amps (they are in the bed too)in the bed, bolted a ground block to the bed floor (hidden) and ran my #4 grounds from the batteries and the amps to this ground block. I then ran 1 #0 wire from this block through a gromet in the bed floor, drilled and tapped a hole in the frame and bolted it to the frame. The positives run off a switch that activates either Bat. 1, Bat.2 Both Bat. or both bat. off. Then a single #0 wire runs straight from that switch to the hot post on the starter. hope this helps!
