I need to relocate my bayyery in the ram to the back of the ext. cab. what is the safest way of doing this ? where do i put the grounds that were up front. thanks

the way i've always done it is to, take all the grounds that were connected to the battry and connect them to the frame where the battry was grounded. while doing this it would be a good time to upgrade the wire size on the engine to frame and engine to body. helps with current flow. as far as power i would run no smaller than a 4 gauge from the battry to the starter and then use a distribution block for the other power wires(alternator and fuse box wiring. then just run your stereo and compressors directly off the battry. personally i think 4 gauge is plenty to run up front cause the high current draw will be for the second the truck starts and all accessory circuits are switched off during start-up, so that is plent of wire and i've never had any issues with the ones i've done. just make sure the frame is bare for the ground and use a bolt and lock washer, same for rear. oh and fuse the wire at the battry!!!!!!!!!!
