in my neck of the woods a channel means just the floor comes up around the frame. a traditional bodydrop or an in-cab (what we call it) means the whole floor comes up. im in SoCal.

Hey i can get it done for you for 1500 bucks if your already laying frame and you have the wheel size you pretty much want to stick with in mind.. Just let me know when your serious about it i am from seymour in about 90 miles from you and yea we would rather it be stripped of the interior when we get it. If interested i will send you pics of other trucks we have done if you just look at mine i dont have a bedfloor built in mine yet.. That would be extra also or we could just channel your bed.. by channel i mean cut 3 1/2 inches out of the inside of your bed drop them together and weld them back.. it all depends on the look you want.. i wanted a sheet metal bed so i am going to build my own..

im no where close to laying frame...lol. i still need to get the radius arm x-member relocator from SuicideDoors, do a 4-link in the rear, and notch the frame up front for the tie rods for the tie rods in order to get my truck any lower. pics of my truck dropped all the way down in my scoop if you wanna take a look. oh and most of the bed on my truck is made of fiberglass (Ford's doing).

$3500 on a ranger to me is a lil pricey ....thats just me though ....from being involved in doing 3 different bd's one was a ranger and it was by far the simplest one hands down.... if really wanted to could pull it off in a matter of 3 days on the cab & 1 - 1.5 on the bed without killing yourself or being locked in the garage 24 hours a day.

Oh and where i'm from a channel is just that, a channel built around each of the frame rails for them to set in. A traditional b/d is the entire floor raised up, and a stock floor is where you modify the frame.
