Wonder what part of my comment you took offense too Im just sayin there's NO real way to tell who had the 1st minitruck bcuz back then most peole never travled out of the area....the was no such thing as SSM..... so people can only say "this person is the 1st that i know of" when in reality someone in a completely different area of the country or world had one months or years before......

I'm lookin at a 1975 issue of truckin right now that has a chevy luv in the lower right hand corner on the cover. That's a mini and I'm sure there were some before that.

This just happens to be Vol. 1 I have in my hands. There is also a 72 courier inside. Truckin released this with another issue several months back. I just happen to have it here in my desk. I'd say whenever the first truck short of a half ton was built would be the first mini's ever built. You know there was "this guy" who bought one and personalized it. I've got a 69 Subaru 360 van. They also made a truck that year so I'd say pre 69 still yet. Has to be within 3 or 4 years of 69 cause the gas crunch was begining and that was the beginning of the small car/truck race.
