Ignition?

My truck is running weird. I turn the ginition it starts then does. I wiggle the key and it goes back on. What the fuck is wrong here? I put a new ignition on it still the same? anyclue? How can i also change it to a psh button start?

Check the wires running down your steering column it may have one pinched or rubbed bare.

And as for push button start just take the ignition out and the clip that goes on the ignition check the wires with a test light find the one that is live when you turn the key all the way then splice into it for your button wire.

do what he said and check the wires first. if they're all good, then replace your ignition switch (entire assembly where you insert the key). it's worn down

this ignition problem reminds me of one old BMW's would have when you put to much crap on your keychain and the weight ruined the contacts in teh switch.
