Yea I got a 350 for my '54 Ford. I get a lot of flack for it, especially from the hardcore Ford guys. But parts are cheaper, the motor was free in the first place, and I have a 283 crank in it making it a 302. I think its badass and thats all that matters. Do what you want to do, what makes you happy.

Also, I got a license plate frame that says "Built Ford Tough With Chevy Stuff" just for those guys that say a Ford goes in a Ford and thats the only option.

People change out parts with all kinds of makes and models of vehicles for different looks and performance. I'm not big on brand swapping that much because I try to keep a "true" breed of vehicle. It's yours to do whatever with but I just like to keep the same brand motor to power whatever it is I'm driving, at least by the same corporation.

hot rodders have been usin chevy motors in fords for years. I say do it bro. i'm gonna put a 350 in the ranger cuz like seth and james said they're easier to work on and parts are more available and cheaper too
