All 1/2" line and fittings, 1/2" smc's, tank, compressor, and wiring. Just shy of $3000 parts and labor. 2-link back in it ? Tell the guy to kick up some more $ and put a 4-link.
people need to learn to throw away their u bolts
OMG i cant believe u drove it good luck on the repair.
Wow, that's some piece of work there... I hope your customer doesn't care that you're showing off this terrible work that you're redoing. There was another thread on here like this from a shop about a year ago, the customer saw it and took his truck to another shop. I know I wouldn't want my "problems" I'm paying a shop to fix showing all the f'ed up work to the world... Be careful, or make sure you have dude's consent. Good luck with the Extreme Frame Makeover!
His customer should be happy that his truck is finally in capable hands- I think everyone I know has fallen victim to the "too good to be true" fabrication work in the past, and we all learned from it the hard way.
Well, not ALL of us learn!! But this guy did, so he shouldn't be mad at the shop for pointing out unsafe work to others in the scene!
