I was stoked to find what i thought was a killer deal and a buddy who i trust said he wouldn't do it...i trust him but want it!!!! any place sell aftermarket stuff to give it power?
If you do get it dont waste your money on a chip for it or anything. Just drive it.

i dont see what all the fuss is about..i have a 90 suburban with a 350 and its got over 230,000 towing miles on it..no problem doing 85 down the highway with truck in tow...so unless you gonna be towin huge ass loads i wouldnt be too worried about it

7.3 superduty........got one in my excursion w the turbo back exhaust, intake, and programmer and it gets it~~

Yeah man im just saying, I wasnt bragging or anything Im sure the cummings is the better motor and hauler, the point that i was making was that unless he is actually going to use it on a constant basis than its pointless, To spend the extra money. most people arent rich and have to budgit things in like this. But yeah if he had the extra money to blow then thats great.

I made the plunge and got a 7.3 turbo diesel....much better than the shitty 6.5 I was contemplating....now I have about 390 HP....hotta love that shit!
