i say snag it up man and if you want performance parts check out Heath Deisel performance they got stuff for the 6.2 and 6.5 deisels

ever thought about an e-series diesel van?? bout the same size as an excursion, maybe a hair shorter. but still should be able to tow a $hit ton

i dont see what all the fuss is about..i have a 90 suburban with a 350 and its got over 230,000 towing miles on it..no problem doing 85 down the highway with truck in tow...so unless you gonna be towin huge ass loads i wouldnt be too worried about it

7.3 superduty........got one in my excursion w the turbo back exhaust, intake, and programmer and it gets it~~

Yeah man im just saying, I wasnt bragging or anything Im sure the cummings is the better motor and hauler, the point that i was making was that unless he is actually going to use it on a constant basis than its pointless, To spend the extra money. most people arent rich and have to budgit things in like this. But yeah if he had the extra money to blow then thats great.

I made the plunge and got a 7.3 turbo diesel....much better than the shitty 6.5 I was contemplating....now I have about 390 HP....hotta love that shit!

I'm all for driving and not towing but I would get a Dodge to tow your Dodge
