Yeah Pretty Much We Primered mine and sanded it and primered it again and sanded it several times to get all the textured stuff off so it looks smooth i think they look better like thathttp://www.streetsourcemag.com/uploads/Ownerprofiles/S10drggn2/582006111552AM2781.jpg>

sand the texture off before priming theres a good chance the texture will show after it all cures up "shrinking" if you dont

no dont if you do the paint will curl up and peel in some spots where the texture is really light trust me sand the primer smooth its just easier alltogether

You should sand the dash first to loose the texture, make sure you wear gloves when you are sanding because the dash material will absorb alot of oils from your hands and cause problems. Then put on a couple coats of high build primer and wet sand those. Then paint

if its hard plastic you can sand some of the texture out but youll more thenlikely fuck it up. i would clean it w/ thinner first then spray on a good coat of adhesion promotr right b4 you prime it.

Yep, thats what we did. Takes alot of primer though.
