I have pictures of my bed when it was in bare metal. If someone would post the for me it would be much appreciated.
my question is, when you do a all sheeetmetal bed, should you weld it up completely? should you weld the tubs in completly?weld the tops up ? lots of tacs be ok?
ON MINE -- THE BRACE UNDER THE SHEETMETAL IS WHAT WAS REALLY WELDED UP GOOD -- THEN ONCE THE SHEETMETAL WAS CUT AND PLACED OVER -- IT WAS JUST TACKED IN EVERY 1 - 1-1/2 INCHES --- AND SPOTWELDED TO THE 1 1/2 BRACING UNDERNEATH -- THEN I FILLED ALL THE SEEMS AND HAD A SHOP LINE X THE BED -- SOME ONE HELP ME POST PICS --

We welded my bed up soild, it took more time to get the body work straight, but i think that the soild weld helps to keep moisture from getting in between the metal and the filler.
