4.3??????HELP HELP

ok i just droped in a 4.3 in this guys truck & it turns over but its not getin gas & i can hear the fuel pump workin....why is it not getin gas.....HELP

Check the filter on the side of the frame rail. When my pump went out it would run but didn't have enough pressure to start the engine. What truck did you put it in and what engine was in it before? It may be too small of a pump?

the 4.3 was out of my 91 & now its in a 85 that came with a 2.8 then the guy put in a 4.3 that wasnt tbi & never put oil in it when it had a bad leak so.im putin my 4.3 in it

fuel pump bad nuf said

you check fuel pressure? changed fuel filter? pull a line after the fuel pump and see if its putting any gas out

fuel pump & filter are new & its just not goin into the carb
