Thanks. I was going by what the factory gave for gawr and figured I should get bags with enough capacity to match. It might be abit overkill but I like to be to big instead of to small. I know mounting the bags on the bars instead of axle will change the weight rating. I had mine mounted about 2/3 of the way back on my burb.
Krewzlo was right on the info and my price is about the same as his 175.
Universal air also makes one that is 4.5" collapsed 15.75" extended 5.875" diameter and 1/2" ports for aound 110 each.
One of those should work showing my rear setup. I built it way overkill but it won't break. The notch is made from 1/4 plate and also has 1/4 square tubing inside it.
Those bags are only rated for 2800 each? They look bigger than that.
That what my distributor says but It seems like they were more than that. But that is still enough unless maybe your going to pull a 3 car wedge, but then I would imagine they would do it, depending on the weight on the gooseneck ball. Lock probably knows more about what the car wedges weigh.
I probably realisticly never tow more than my 5th wheel, but I figure I should make it as heavy as I can.
I need some of those.....
What? 5th wheels?
Get one with a slide-out. There very roomy.
