Go read up on 4-link geometry. They're a lot more complicated than the average person thinks. Its not just a matter of putting some bars wherever they fit.

4 links are over-rated, you can have a quick and simple 2 link by cutting the leafs right behind the axle. make sure your u-bolts are tight and wha-lah
that was a joke by the way don't do that.

That setup would have superior articulation as well...

Installing a 4-link does take a little knowledge and experience to get it right. Theres nothing wrong with people trying to do their own work as long as you do the research and get it right. You can usually buy a 4-link welded together for same price as all the parts and materials. Ours are $250 and we will build it to your length or send it to you in pieces for you to weld it together.

it really is pretty easy. If you want to keep it simple you can buy some round steel, cut to a length you need, put it in a lathe, center drill, drill it, chamfer it, tap it. Do the same for the other side but use lefthanded tap. Probably hardest part is what length your bars should be, as long as it keeps your asxle from moving should be good. If you want to build a better one, like the suicidedoors ones, some experience and welding skills would be needed. But if your pretty good machinist, you can get away with it pretty dam cheap. I aint no expert, i'm pretty good machinist, i dont consider myself the best, but i'll never buy another 4 link i'll build my own, but thats just me.

For that, you can build a wishbone and you won't have any problems. Make the uppers and lowers the same length and make sure there mounted parallel to each other and you shouldn't have any problems. You can also hit killer sides with that setup. It's also very gratifying when someone asks you about it and you tell them you made it yourself. Just my .02. Also there's plenty of information on net to walk you though it.
