definately go with at least 0 ga welding cable, the further you mount the battery from the stock location the thicker the cable has to be, if you use too thin of a cable, you will have trouble starting. and for your ground, step up to 0 ga and ground the block to the frame and the battery to the frame.

Easy way to make a remote terminal is too Take and drill a hole threw your frame rail big enough to get a plastic spacer threw there then you putt a bolt threw it with some plastic washers to seperate it from the frame. Got it? Yeah i would go bigger than 4 guage I used 2 and i can still tell a difference in draw.

That sounds a little iffy to me. Plastic washers weather and crack and if it's bumped your touchin hot to ground. If you want to hide your battery you can put it just about anywhere and pick up a set of remote terminals from summit or jegs and hide those easily within reach. I put my battery in the jump seat area of my cab and this winter I'm setting up my remote terminals behind my front bumper. (only have to run a short wire to my distribution block, which is also good because if I loose connection at the battery for some reason I'll still be able to power up the truck)
