ok need help, got the 4-link and c-notch on yesterday, "triangle reverse canilever". went for a test drive, around 40mph the truck started to rock so i slowed down and BAM spining into a 180. why is it rocking so bad? is it bc i don't have any shocks on or something else. Also, has anyone ever put the bag brackets off of the bar that you weld to link bars to insted off the frame? this shop did mine that way and i just want to make sure it is ok, i get super lift though. thanks for any help

Do you have any pictures you can post? Profiles are not accessable ATM, and pictures help a lot.

But it sounds like your 4-link may have been installed wrong.

Don't expect any help for at least two days. We can't really do shit without seeing what the problem is. And prepare for a burning sensation between yoru legs.

Just because someone at a shop has done 'a few other trucks' doesn't make him a pro by any means.

Fault 1: reverse link system of any kind... no no.

Fault 2: Probably didn't even triangulate the bars enough to prevent lateral movement

Fault 3: piss poor welding may have broken 4 link tabs on the shitty reverse link system without enough lateral support.

Fault 4: he told you it was a cantilever when in reality he has no idea wtf he is doing nor does he know the proper names of setups.

Take a read over the website in my signature and become familiar with air ride and some good and bad points of installs, and also please do post some pictures... i wanna see this mess.

Man if you don't have shocks on the back with a reverse 4 link you will get all kinds of axel hop.
