s10 4.3

Is the 4.3 v6 motor offset to the passenger side on a stock s10? I am looking at the body builder's manual and see that the driveshaft is offset o.47" to the passenger side. I'm not sure if the tailshafts on the tranmissions are offset of the motor.Thanks
