It's definitely not about trying to make a profit by selling! I built my ride for me and not for someone else, just like most of you. If I built it just to sell to someone else I would have gone much cheaper Definitely plan to hold on to it because I couldn't imagine someone else driving my baby!

I would have to agree.

about $24,000 that includes 2 sets of wheels though 4 sets of tires going smaller and smaller, paint for the chassis, some things that aren't even on the truck anymore. That doesn't include the cost of the truck. I still need body work, paint, interior, new stereo. Figure when i'm done i'll be at around 30-35,000

I got 10K in the truck and the parts about 2500 in labor and about 30 meals from wendys and 100 or so budlights and moutain dews. The wendys and beers attracted other mini truckers over to help me. I spend half of my free time working on it and I am about to give up cause I think it will never be done. I wish I would have built a $1500 dragger now.

At $36,000, with another $1,200 in parts needed to complete the next phase ,the front end suspension. The line-x in the bed will be another $400 or so. And than on to paint/interior!

Hmmm....I'm beginning to think minitruckers aren't as penniless as they let on Let's not even get started on how much money we have dropped into show registration fees, hotels, and beer
