Ok, all i have is a 3 gallon compressor, i don't think (ok, who am i kidding, i freaking KNOW) it won't handle an air driven cutoff wheel. So does anyone know if anyone makes an electric die grinder (cutoff wheel)? If so, where can i get it? I don't think a dremel tool will be able to handle it, and I really don't want to drop $500 or so on a 60 or 80 gallon compressor when i'm not going to have to use it much.
HOW ABOUT BUYING A GRINDER AND SWITCHING THE WHEELS TO A CUTOFF WHEEL --- THERE U HAVE IT A CUT OFF WHEEL THATS ELECTRIC --- HOPE THAT HELPS !!!
Uhhhh how about a 4.5 inch angle grinder with a cutoff wheel.

yeah jumbo.. grab a 4" angle grinder at Lowes and look at their huge wheel section.. get the cut off wheels, but be careful, they LOVE to explode on you, so be prepared. also i use the flap discs and the screw on grinding wheels.. all dewalt brands.
yea man, any kind of angle grinder will work. Throw a cut off wheel on it and call it good. wear eye protection, and or a face shield.
I dont like using electric for cutoff wheels at all. Way to much torque, disks explode way to often.
18v dewalt grinder is 100 wendy's frosties at Lowes down here in Ga. there good for types of shit, cutting, grinding, toe nail trimming, etc!
the $16.99 Harbor Freight angle grinder special works for me, but i don't use it often

I HATE using them to, but sometimes you gotta use what you got! When i use a cutoff wheel on an electric grinder i use safety glasses AND a face shield. Those things blow up EASY.
