Got a ticket for blowing my air horns? can i win this in court?

first of all did you give him permission to touch your switch. if not he does not have any right to just start playing with your ride. and then ask the judge if thats a new way of trying cases? the cop asks you and you say no so he took you to court right there on the street by trying to proove you were lying last i knew that was the judges job. and yes my mom is a lwyer so im up on sum stuff..lol all you have to say is he took your right to a fair trial away. and if the judge makes ya pay then on the way out of the court house parking garage blow them fkrs real loud ..hahahha

Well, when I tell the truth when I get caught speeding, then the cop will surely give me a ticket. But if i play dumb and say I didn't realize I was speeding there is more of a chance that he will let me go with a warning

you can get a ticket for train horns all day, my buddy got one, its illegal operation. and hell lose his liscense because its commercial, only allowed a number of offenses.

I guess it depends on the law in that state but almost everything you buy for your vehicle that didnt come stock can put your vehicle in the illegal category...however just most cops dont enforce it...you can try to fight it and I hope you do win but most of the time you are fighting a battle that you have lost before you even started is usually what ends up happening when you fight cops...more than anything my suggestion is be cool with them and 9 times out of 10 they wont do anything but give you a warning...its when people mouth of that they start writing up tickets...not saying you said anything bc it sounds like this cop was an ass...but like I said good luck and hope you can save your job

Here in VA the law is fucked. If you get too many non-moving violations they can take your license, or suspend it, jail, etc. Even for small things, like being too low, or defective equipment. But from the perspective here, if you had the train horns and your stock horn was still hooked up, the defective equipment citation could be fought using the defense that your factory horn is hooked up and still works. You might look at it from that direction.

everywhere has their own laws, if he gave you the ticket its either a law there, or you'll get out of it in court. and just cause you drive for a living doesnt mean that you get to fuck off in your car as much as you please. why do you need those loud ass horns anyway?
