in some states you can get ticket for unreasonable use of your horn. As far as defective equipment if it works then not really defective equipment.....

thats one nasty looking chassis. that ticket is bullshit but i had a cop pull me over when i had to roll without a bed...he said he could ticket me for not having flaps or fenders on the back tires...my 1 compressor was too loud? I was hitting switches while waiting to make a left turn and i coulda had 2 noise violations vlaves and compressor ... but he let me go, didnt even mention no windshield wipers or double limo tint over factory privacy tint. sometimes i think i get pulled over cuz teh cop wants to see the truck. dumbasses.
Than i got pulled over without a bed recently cuz my taillights were out,i told him i knew about it and i was just trying to get my truck home.. cop didnt say a damn thing after that he was actually pretty cool about it since i told him i knew already.
i thought i was gonna get pulled over last night for rollin a cunt hair off the ground but cop just went around me instead.
all depends on the cop but sometimes judges are cool about shit.

horns and most other sounding equipment (alarms and such) are not suppost to sound above 105 DB in most states. he could get you for that but i wouldnt call it defective equipment
