That's funny when the "ORIGINAL" NC was Nu Choice way before it was Negative Camber.... Matter of fact those guys are still around building some of the baddest stuff I have ever seen. I never heard them complaining about anyone ripping them off.

We've had our name and logo taken. In utah and in mexico. But I have to say without a doubt the NC logo has been ripped off by ALOT of clubs. I think at one splash I counted 15 clubs with initials and an oval.
So to some it up. It happens and often.

Ovals and initials have been around for a long time. I wouldn't consider any club out today to be the original club that founded that "logo". Ovals are very popular and classy, i'm sure if you look around you will find them on things other than car clubs

ya I tried to contact those guys in 99 when we started VC in the U.S. and they acted as if there shit didnt stink and said they didnt want anything to do with anyone in the U.S. (im not sure but i think the guys running it now are not the same guys i talked to in 99) so we did our own thing. there was also a guy named brandon from georgia that had a club called vertically challenged back in 1990 and I contacted him aswell and he said they hadnt used that name since 95 or 96.
i talked with one of the guys in the vc of canada about 8 months ago because i heard the guy that started it up there that i origanally talked to and told me to fuck off was not running it anymore, but he never got back to me about being one big club, if you can get me intouch with who ever is in charge of the club up there i would appreciate it

you have no idea, i was pissed when i found out the ther was a down 2 earth on the east coast, and we are down to earth, here in socal, its shitty but nuthing you can do about it.
There was a Down 2 Earth in the Peoria IL area in the early 90's. I was a member for awhile. I remember the club pres saying that down 2 earth in cali had tracked him down and offered to have us be a chapter of the original group. He claimed that the IL group had been around since the mid 80s, about the time he joined...oh well, names are names but the club should at least change thier logo around out of respect to the original club.

Mike, That would have been Darren that you talked to, he was the president of VC back then. At the time the club was a close knit group of friends, If I remember correctly, most of the members did not see any point in have members from far away that we would likely never meet. I highly doubt that he would have told you to "F--- off"
No one is currently an acting president, abunch of us still hang out together but the club itself is not functioning right know. There are a few of us that are still into Minitruckin, some guys are into 4x4s, and VW and some classic cars.

I, was president for about 4 years, when I took some time off the club I left the guys set up to do one more show, Scrapin' The Glacier 7, after that show the club basically slowed into remission, that was 2 or 3 years ago.
