Anyone seen a hood that looked like this before? I'm looking at doing this with my hood, but before I cut it up and spend who knows how many hours, does anyone know if this is custom or aftermarket?

EDIT: After a little searching, I found that it is TwistedDually's truck. Maybe I should ask him.

I wasn't there, I just randomly found this pic on the net somewhere. I love the hood! It reminds me of when the new style of Chevy trucks came out and the 2500HDs and 3500s had the taller hoods.

I take it that you didn't remove any of the origional hood material?

After I welded the skin on the top, I turned it over and cut out the hood and welded the factory skeleton to the skin.
