well orginally i read lowrider and lowrider euro and was into the import scene before all the ricers took over after to the movie "the gay and the curious" came out.. when i was looking for my first car i really wanted a caddy juiced on some daytons. instead i got a civic for relability. well after a few years i traded the civic for my mazda. needless to say only reason i got rid of the civic was cause i knew if i bagged it id fuck the unibody up so i traded it off. now its 4 almost 5 years later ive had a fleet of vehicles ive had my hands on but the trucks just stay in my hands im now up to four total it just dosnt seem to stop. not that id want it to.. its not just about dragging partying or finishing your ride either its building it for you. not for sombody else. i think this quote sums it up for the women to understand."if any girls are reading this: that is what trucks are for us sometimes - an outlet, a salvation, something for us to feel proud of that is ours, and no matter how crappy or unfinished it is, it's our baby. how many times have you gone into the garage to work on your ride? ill tell you what. when mine was actully in the garage, that was a daily scenario. the garage is our confessional. the truck listens and does just that: listens. no feedback is needed; no awnsers need to be given; just quiet & then the sound of a sawzall." ---- Mini Truck magazine septemeber 2006, chad lucas
for the guys its just an addiction the sounds of the valves, the being low as fuck at the flick of a switch. being able to make sombody break their neck as your drive by and just laugh about. hanging out with your buddies or homies talking, working and bullshiting about or on trucks..
