anyone towing with 19s or 22" wheels ? ever have a problem? what size tiresare you running and what are the load rattings on them/ are you bagged? if so what size bagsare you running ? thanks
locks got you covered on this one 22 semi wheels with a 35 seris tire i believe, bodydropped and hauls a 3 car trailer.
but ill let him give ya specifics.
Before the B/D..We towed the 3 car hauler to G'Ville with the 255/30/22 on semis with no problem..However I would prefer 35 or 40 series on 22s and 35 series on 24s and in 19s 235/35/19s work good
I'm not trying to be a stick in the mud, but don't you get worried about having a blowout because your tires are not rated for the weight? Or maybe I'm ignorant and Lock needs to take me to school.
I've always kinda wondered about that, myself.
thats whay i was kinda thinkin too
A Yoko advan sport sized 265/30/22 is rated at 1600 pounds. You have 4 of them in back, 6400 pounds. Estimate half of the truck weight at 3500 pounds(on thye tires), and you have 2900 pounds of load carrying capacity left over.
A Yoko Parada Spec X 265/40/22 is rated at 2000 pounds a tire...
I don't think thats the same as a "D" rated tire though. I could be wrong. I probably am.
on mine 19's i run a 245/40 and have towed alittle and no problems at all
Some people still run a stock wheel with a load rated tire on the inside.
