If I strip my car down to bare metal how could i protect it untill i can paint?

keep it lightly oiled. wd40 works great. we learned this from mr. grant himself.

yeah i think wd40 works pretty good. talk to TEABAGINNN on here i think he's been rollin with wd40 for a while now on his benz.

I use a can a week or so. I soak it down, then scrub it with steel wool, rub it down really good then give it another goad coat followed by another rub down. The whore should be paying me 100 buck an hour for the work.Be sure to not paint it for a very long time after coating it.

y? i only go oth bare metal if im repairing damage or theres mroe then3 coats of paint... WD 40 is VERY bad if you plan on painting it. silicone +urehane primer/paint= ton of fisheye.

Ben, we're going to have to touch bases with you in 20 years to see the long term effects of exposure to WD-40! A can a week?!
You should park that Benz really close to the edge of your spot, then look for the person that parks next to you in the store with the big black oily streak across their back from sliding past!! That'd be classic!
