Dude the fender height is going to be the same from year to year. They're interchangeable.

If anything, the OLDER model clip would be SMALLER because trucks gradually get bigger with time. And the truck in question has an early 90s Ranger clip.

wich truck has an early ranger clip on it???? The black one is a monte and jaymacs is a 98!!! I am not talking about fenders I am talking about the subframe. Someone said Jaymacs had a yota front clip and I said no its a 98 ranger clip.

The fact is that a ranger of that year will lay on a 265-30-22 if you cup the hood. That truck doesn't even come close to the hood.If thoughs are twenty two's the pinch would sit atleast two inch's from the ground and to me that look's like a 35 tire. The metal fab for something like that would be very obvious.I have been a fabricator for a very long time and know something doesn't add up.so what's the deal?

no one has yet to say what size tire is on each of those trucks....i know there is a tire alot smaller than a 265/30 22...in fact there is a 225/35 22..that right there would be alot smaller and therefore give you more room..i mean come on..the truck is obviosly laying rocker on 22s i mean i looked at the damn thing at the redroof....

Ok, but why is it a 2" difference. The 265/30/22 measures out to 28.3" tall. The 225/35/22 measures 28.2" tall. Thats .1" difference, not 2 inches!

I saw it at Red Roof in too and I was pretty sure they were 22's and positive that it was layin rocker. Glad someone else saw it too severerd701 cause this thread had me askin just how drunk was I for a minute? lol

The camber will make up a difference of maybe 1/4" tops. From straight up and down, to 16 degrees camber my tire gets less than 1/4" taller. I dont see how camber could make up for the difference there.

They say that tire is 28.4 but with air mine measure about 28.6.from the way the tire's sit in the front if they where twenty two's it would sit up about two inch's.If it was a 255.35.20 at 26.5 that is about where it sit's.My interest in this is curiosity.I would like to know how this look's like it does. The way it sit's look's wrong for a twenty two.Just doesn't add up..
