that would be a terable thing & the last Thing he would ever want . I lost my brother 5 months ago and all I remember Is that he loved how far I had come in mini truckin and that he was so proud to be the one who showed me the way.......Do your brother proud take the truck and run with i it.

explain it to your parents like this.. this is good advice. show it in his memory and explain to yuor folks, that that's what HE would want, not just cuz you want to..

just put it up till things cool and tell them how much your brother loved that truck. then finish it in his memory. if he died trying to finish it then finished it must be

I would say talk to your parents and come to some agreement that would be satisfactory to both of you and go from there ... I do agree it would be a shame to get rid of such a nice truck to the junk yard, but they are your parents

Why?

Your parents need to be more understanding. Your brother lost his life doing probably what he loved. Your brothers truck isn't a murder weapon, it's his passon. It's unforunate accident. There's no reason that truck should be distroyed, or that you should have to give it up. I'm sorry to say you need to put your foot down on your parents and tell thim that by saying it's a waste of money, they're disrespecting your brother in the worst way.

not everyone understands the car truck passion, thats why there's different strokes for different folks. Maybe your parents like to spend their money on booze, or Folk-Art, or Concert tickets... everyone's got their own back, sit down and have a heart to heart with them, they'd have to understand at some point that the truck is your brothers legacy and you need to continue that.

Your brothers lucky you're interested. Get it back, finish it, and show it in his honor.

Did your brother have kids? If so, I'd just show it or store it, they'd probably want it some day....

Otherwise, I agree with everybody else, don't just trash it, and your bro would have wanted it to stay in the family.

Let your parents know that the truck didnt take his life. God took his life. So does this mean they dont like God anymore? Im not trying to be an ass or anything but i do think you should have the truck. Id be willing to bet your bro would have wanted you to have it.
