97 GMC 1500 B/D with 22's question

2.5" will lay rocker, mine will be almost on the doors at 3.25"

I did my 88 stock floor 2.5" it lays rocker move the wiring harness below brake booster worked perfect it sits right next to the weel tubs super close to brake pedal arm though

Ok i see that you cut your fire wall for the rims so that helps me there, what about your steering linkage?

it dosnt hit the arms but tubulars did bind up a little still works harder to steer still need to fix that also i left out my wheel wells and everything on them put the battery under the bed

dosnt hit cause i have tubular control arms my truck doesn have ac ethier so i dont know but i assume thats even more stuff 2 move

at 2.5" theres no steering mods needed, even with stock arms. as for the manual tranny, i converted mine over from an auto, and built a pedal to mount the master cylinder under the dash.

oh yeah also took out the ebrake lever and all the cables really dont need anyways when you lay body

i used a b&m floor shifter for now cause the linkage for my auto collum wouldnt fit ill change it back when i get my 97 collum in

this is good to know, but is this the case for 22's or 20's
