I've noticed alot of people asking questions on the install of an AIR ZENITH compressor so here are some helpful tips!!
1)TANK IS TO BE NO LARGER THAN 8-GALLONS, BUT WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND STAYING WITH A 5-GALLON MAX.
2)NO ON/OFF SWITCHES IN PLACE OF A PRESSURE SWITCH!!!PRESSURE SWITCH MUST BE USED!
3)NO SMALLER THAN A 60-AMP SOLENOID/RELAY MUST BE USED
(A REGULAR 30-AMP BOSCHE STYLE RELAY WILL BURN UP!)
4)A MINIMUM OF 8 GAUGE HIGH QUALITY POWER WIRE MUST BE USED FOR ALL CONNECTIONS FROM THE BATTERY TO THE SOLENOID TO THE COMPRESSOR
5)CIRCUIT BREAKER IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
6)IF RUNNING 2 AIR ZENITHS RUN 2 CIRCUIT BREAKERS,2 80AMP SOLENOIDS ,MIN. 8 GAUGE POWER AND 1 PRESSURE SWITCH
HOPEFULLY THIS HELPS YOU GUYS...I DO BELIEVE THIS IS CAUSING THE PROBLEMS PEOPLE ARE HAVING WITH THE AZ'S..IMPROPER INSTALLION.

i'm getting 2 air zenith, where do i get the circuit breakers for them and where would they be set at (between the the relay and the battery or between the compressor and relay)
Those Stinger 80Amps kick ass.. you could run 2 AZs off one, but always good to get 2 so each compressor has it's own so if one ever fails (which i doubt, if wired correctly) you'd have one AZ to get ya home.
There are also 150 AMP Continuous duty Solenoids available for a few bucks more than Stingers.. made for leaving open to shut down your vehicles power/save battery/prevent problems. 600RUSH Amp rating also.
Everyone just be sure to spend a little extra to use the RIGHT solenoids/wiring like Kris has detailed..

im running two of them. and when i first hooked them up with just 8 gauge all the way back it was HORRIBLE they didnt run for shit, i fried all kinds of stuff. wires were welding together. haha so i knew i had to up the stakes alot more than my old vair 350 setup. so i just went and got a 100 amp fuse for a car stereo setup, ran 4 gauge all thw way back. (REMEMBER dont get cheap wire!!!!!!!!) then T'd them into 8 gauge to two selinoids i bought at a autozone (dont remember amperage but i think its 60) than ran one pressure switch. runs great!!! but i highly recomend running a optima yellow top and a bigger alt. i havnt got the bigger alt yet, but it kinda bogs down with both running. i only run one right now cause i dont use them for anything but to air up to work on the truck. dont have any newer pics but i am running a one vair air line in this pic cause the check valve snapped on the other line. had not installed it back when this pic was takin...

I always run 4 gauge back from battery, to a distribution block, with 8 gauge coming off to each solenoid like that too.. no problems now that I use the larger solenoids.
