Badluck with red top?

I have gone through three Red Top Optima batteries in 15 months, I am running 2 viair 450s with all the correct relays and fuses, and a stock stereo. i have no shorts in the system no current draw when sitting and these things just keep going bad on a daily dragger. anyone else having issues? are there any other brands out there for this application that would do the job better like stingers or something? I know i should try a yellow top but with the luck i have with red tops i don't wanna drop 135.00 on another optima what do you guys think?

is your altnator charging the battery?

get a yellow top, its better for the type of stuff you'll be using it for. a red top is like your typical battery. its mainly for normal use and good for cold starting. a yellow top is meant to have more strain on it and can be ran down and still be effective.

my redtop came with 3 year warranty...

i have had my red top with two viair 450's for two years, never a problem, only when it sits. have you tried a battery charger. hook it up and see where your battery is at percentage wise, then go from there.

I know three people that have went through at least 10 of them total in the last two years but as soon as they went to a yellow top no more problems, I have allways had a yellow top and no problems.

i also have a red top with 2 460s and stock radio and havent had a prob yet. but im with everyone else id try a yellow top,seems like nobody ever has bad words about the yellows.

I had a red top reverse poles once.

ID CHECK THE CHARGEING SYSTEM... AND THEY SHOULD HAVE 3 YR WARRANTY... AND DOES YOUR COMPRESSORS RUN WITH THE TRUCK OFF?,,, CAUSE THE RED TOPS RESERVE CAPACITY ISNT AS GOOD AS THE YELLOW,,, BUT IT HAS MORE STARTING POWER
