I know this isn't the first bodydrop ever, but it is a pretty early one. Brian Jendro did it sometime in the early 90s. It was definitely the first in Washington and the first one I ever saw in person.

the yellow mazda was done in late 94, my yota was at the chop shop from jan-april gettin a b/d

Bob Hase for President. If it wasn't for Bob's guidance I know our shows would not have been as organized as they have been. Not sure you can find someone into this scene longer then him and have as much invested in it as him. It's punk kids like the tree puller and the idiot that sued bob years back that are BAD for the spot. And those who encourage retarded behavior should just line up in front of a train with them.

Bob has been working for years to bring back a run in Parker. Brad and Spectrum are doing Summer Splash down the river. If everyone can handle having fun and not being billy bad ass or tree pulling monkeys then we may have runs like the "god 'old' days" of pre 2000. When there was at least 2 river runs. And by runs I mean you go to a park for 3 days and just party. Not go to a show during the day then drag around the local town. Talking enclosed park no locals just dragging and fun.

Jim thanks for the kind words as I see it the sport has never been larger than it is now. What I should say is the sport back East is where we were a few years ago I have been on the road trips to Indy and Texas for the Heat Wave and the Import Truck Bash the shows remind me of Cali a few years back. They are starting to have the same things go on that we where having large shows ever week in the Summer and the sport getting larger every year now with things going on like people trashing the Hotels and now destroying property it is getting more like us everyday. Instead of having 3 or 4 3-day events a month we are down to 3 all year long and it really has made it bad for the scene. I just hope that the guys back East look at what is going on and stop the trend of the want to be Mini Truckers that just don

YOUR KIDS ARE INTO IT NOW? AND I DONT KNOW HOW MANY TIMES YOU WANTED TO THROW THIS DRUNK MINI TRUCKER OUT OF YOUR EVENTS? I WAS TALKIN WITH SOME ONE RECENTLY ON HOW LUCKY WE WERE NOT TO HAVE THE INTERNET BACK IN THE DAY TO EXPLOIT THE STUPIDITY WORLD WIDE, IT WAS JUST KEPT TO WHO EVER WAS AT THE EVENT. (LUCKILY FOR ME). THE IDIOTS HAVE AND WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF LIFE,

Sportruck.com has a club directory with a club called Texas Minis- according to their tag line, they've been active since 1987... anyone got a minitruck club older than that?

-Phil at FBI

I WAS IN A TRUCK CLUB CALLED "FLEETWOOD TRUCKERS SOCAL" FROM 1981 TO 1993?? I THINK THEY ARE STILL AROUND AND I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT IF ANY ONE HAS ANY INFO ON THEM???? LET ME KNOW

You know what REALLY sucked back in the day Mr. Laverty? Being named Lance, having a Mild Class mini-truck and showing against your happy ass!! LOL

You don't even know how many times I got up and started walkin' for the stage only to hear "Lance - from Fleetwood" instead of "Lance - From Local Finesse" get called... Yup, I've been around the scene since about 1988 personally... and have been in very few clubs over the years (Local Finesse, Relaxed Atmosphere, and now SubCulture)

And to clarify - Pat Nichol's Ballistic wasn't the first body dropped truck ever - it was the first body dropped COVER truck ever...

EX Texas Minis member here,,,now VC. I ran into Exotic Minis at THW and they have been around since 1986.

I remember having Kenny Paul from Sunset fly down to Mcallen for a show that Texas Minis put together. Kenny had something with green or orange socks that he put on. This is the same Show that David McDonald showcased his mazda with Bart Simpson on his tailgate. I think her rolled with Custom Minis and Late Minis from Austin.

Ok, where is my HOT sticker
