4 link my dime..

ok i got ym crossmember and my 4 link..question...can i weld my 4 link bars to my gas tank crossmember?

you could i suppose. Thats pretty much how the suicide doors kit is. I wouldnt do it though. Doesnt really seem to beefy !

and another question...does it matter if i center the bars on the axle or on the crossmember?? like dioes it matter on which side i put them closwe together and which i make far apart?? id like to do it where the ones on the crossmember are close..and the ones on the axle are far aprt..is that ognna be ok?

u cant weld on a center pumpkin of an s-10 anyways, with it bein cast and all, so ya, ur gonna want to put the center of ur top two bars on the crossmember

Im sure somebody will argue that u can weld steel to cast, but ive heard its very tricky and not very recommended, so try if u dare, but dont say u werent warned!!! Simply put, weld steel to steel and ur all good!!!

Oh yeah the FBI or the suicide doors one is. I just am not sure if I would trust the factory one! And what he says bout cast is true. You CAN weld it but not good at all. You could put A hoop or loop or what ever to join the axle tubes to make a spot for the 4 link to weld to.

its gonna be hard to clear your gas tank unless the bars go
