So Im gonna start on the cab eventually... the frames pretty much done...

Now here's my dilema...

I've basically gotta replace my floor in the cab, its a crusty mess... so the truck is stock floored 2 3/4" and im going to be chopping the roof 2-3" or so... now... should I traditional BD the floor a bit more and lay door (or get it real close to layin door?)

Amd I going to have enuff headroom? im 6'2" tall... I figured with a 2-3" chop I should have headroom still... but if I take it close to the doors like that im not sure how much head room im gonna have.

How much of a BD is it to the doors in a b2200?

Not to huge of a dillema... but wjatevre im bored and i've just been thinking... lol.

ok Corey, i've got a 2 inch bd on mine and a 2 inch stock window chop on mine as u know, and when i'm sitting in it i'm about 2 inches away from the roof, and i'm 5'8", but i'm also gonna have my seat dug out a little more so i have some more room.

also i disagree with takin your truck to the doors, i think it looks ugly when it's lifted up, but it is just my opininon, good luck with thich ever way u go with it

personally, i think you should drop it to the same point of your graphic.

i'm just curious...what style of chop are you planning to do?

quartered i hope...

Quartered is how i'll be going im sure.

My rendering is just b little bit from the doors.... I don't like it all the way to the doors really... I think its gotta have a bit of rocker left to keep it lookin good. I think i'll probably keep 1/2" to an 1" of rocker behind.

We'll see what happens I guess...

I havnt been motivated at all lately to work on the truck... I havn't touched it in a month now... and after watching the new LLV and seeing the progress on iLLblazers truck its kind of lit a bit of a fire under my ass... plus my dad seems to be willing to help out a bit now... so thats cool.

Yeah... I just measured right now.. im gonna keep it an inch from the door... brings it to the same spot as the rendering.

Anyone know how much of a BD it is to the doors?

replace the rockers with a solid peice of steel about an inch thick- and form the outside of the steel to match the body- then when you drag- and hit things- and lay out on bumps- your rockers will not be affected at all!
