My Chevy LUV truck had 5/8" hydro hose and was airing up. But today, my dad and me changed to 1/2" airline, and now the front will barely air up. When I hit the switch, the valves(herion)will click and sound normal. We are stumped?
Check everything for kinks?
Yea deff check for kinks, nothing chould be clogging the line could it?
I forgot to say that we only re-plumbed the front so far, we didn't get to the back due to the problem in the front. The airline is an almost direct connect w/the valves, I went out and checked and there is no kinks. I'm gettin stressed out, lol.
Do you have a tank gauge? If not maybe pressure switch wiring came loose or something, and you dont have enough PSI. If you've checked that though.. maybe some teflon stuck in valve?
you may need more psi ,now cus of the smaller lines
Jusrt a thought, but could the valves be backwards??? Sometimes it is the simple little BS like that , that will drive you APE SHIT trying to figure out. Good luck with it.
Thanks for all your input fellas, tomorrow when we go back out in the garage we are goin to check the psi.
Russ-D - That was actually the first thing I said when the front didn't go up, lol.
I thing the valves are wrong!
The front still won't raise up, but the back raises up fine. I checked the pressure switch and its a 110-145psi, we even changed the switch to a new one that is also a 110-145psi and still nothing. Any ideas?
