the truck I have now Some othere dude built and noone gives me shit but him and the random fucks on SSM that have nothin better to do. I never claimed to build this truck but I have made a ass load of changes and fixed shit here and there that needed it. This is my 5 car/truck on air and 2 I built and 3 I bought/traded and one of the trucks I bought I origanaly found for the guy that built it/the guy that dose my welding and I was there for every step of that truck so I didnt really concider it a bought truck.... more a truck that was built by him. Who cares what people say.... Just tell them to grow the fuck up.... or do what Im doin..... sell it and built a truck and drag all over them hahah

You know what, I 100% agree. I actually had a forum a few weeks back that was on this same subject. You say, "As long as you don't claim u did it, and mommy/daddy didn't buy it, then at least yer still cool in my book." That's mainly what point I tried to make and It got hated on. The people hating are the ones who feel self-concious and senitive to the fact they haven't built anything and/or didn't build their own ride. I always see those guys hating on us builders out of jealousy. I don't give a fuck what people think because I build my own shit anyhow. I guess the real question here is: What does "Built Not Bought" mean to you?
i build trucks, and see it like this. most everyone has built their truck one way or another, some actually build it, some work a job and have someone build it, or some buy ones already done. As long as you don't claim u did it, and mommy/daddy didn't buy it, then at least yer still cool in my book. If I could afford it, i'd have other people build my trucks, cars, or whatever. Funny how people can be so critical of bought not built. Imagine if everyone would subscribe to that way of thinking, there would be no customs for sale and no custom shops to build. Since everyone should build there own and not buy one.
Don't worry about the haters, some people cannot see farther than their nose. I bought a complete truck and just enjoy driving it, bought another truck and the hard stuff is done. There will always be jealous people. Enjoy what you got, you earned it one way or the other.

I bought my truck already built the guys from profile is IonaNoma. I bought it about 5 months ago and i tell me that i bought it from him but since then i had at all replumbed and changed the valves and lines and welded a skin and leds light and shaved the taillights. Nobody has gave me crap yet they have been real cool. So forget about all those haters man!

heres my thought if you buy a ride & completly redo it or spend more money moding it then you paid its your own built ride. however if your just rolling it and you bought it as long as your not taking credit for the build itself then its your ride but will still be remembered as whom the orginal owner was. theres a diffrence between bought & built but not if you dont take credit for it.... people need to stop being dicks
those are my thoughts exactly. the ride i have now was bought built. but im totally redoing it slowly a piece at a time. i figured buy one thats semi done learn everything you can from the rebuild it. that way the next ride u get u can build yourself. that "built not bought" saying is horse shit ya gotta start somewhere!

my truck was a store bought as well BUT since ive owned it i ve completly redone everything i could from motor to interior to exterior, the only thing thats the same are the wheels and about 85 % of the paintjob thats still on the truck and the suspension which was done so well i couldnt bring myself to redo it , so alls i can say is f&^k the haters !
