I am wondering what you guys on here think about people who buy trucks that were built by other people.

I bought travis truck from solow customs and have gotten nothing but sh** from some people on here. I have NEVER tried to claim the truck as my own I always give the credit to travis.

I'm just getting sick of people callin me know that the truck is forsale and being b*tch's about it.

Like today I get a call from someone who blocked there # just to tell me that I have a sic ass truck but too bad its store bought.
what did I go to walmart and but the truck who ever it was he's an idiot.

Let me know what you guys think because I really would like to know.

i build trucks, and see it like this. most everyone has built their truck one way or another, some actually build it, some work a job and have someone build it, or some buy ones already done. As long as you don't claim u did it, and mommy/daddy didn't buy it, then at least yer still cool in my book. If I could afford it, i'd have other people build my trucks, cars, or whatever. If someone says shit, ask them did they build their house/appartment, or crap, even more basic, did you build your tv, vcr, etc.. LOL Crap, its 3am here, i'm tired....

I agree ^^^^^ Who cares if you didnt build it yourself as long as your not taking credit for the work being done... Not everyone can go into the garage and build a bad ass mini, just because you bought a truck done doesnt mean shit. Fuck all the haters... Theres way to mini on this site for sure

Fuck it, some trucks are bought the way they are for a reason. Take Freemans truck for example. Would you really want to tear it apart and fuck it all up? NO.

Totally understandable. The funny thing here in Oregon is that I know quite a few people claiming to have built more on their trucks than they've actually done, but honestly, it's not a big deal until you say it to someone who knows the person who built it. Shit, I see that like every week here.

well since you give him credit, people should get off your nuts bro, but people have opnions & opnions are like assholes.

heres my thought if you buy a ride & completly redo it or spend more money moding it then you paid its your own built ride. however if your just rolling it and you bought it as long as your not taking credit for the build itself then its your ride but will still be remembered as whom the orginal owner was. theres a diffrence between bought & built but not if you dont take credit for it.... people need to stop being dicks

hell here is a perfect example. i have 3 trucks in my possesion that have had prior mods done to them.. one i started from scratch. so yea i have 4 projects. now the first is the mazda started out lowered & a molded tailgate with 2wd drive metal. it didnt run, it now has 4wd metal needs a new frame cause a shop fucked my frame but ive redone the whole truck hell it runs now. i have 2 s10s one runs the other dosnt both are notched & were/is bagged up front both need the notches replaced & relinked not to mention the bags up front to be cleaned up. well frame wise cause it looks like shit, the one from scratch is my izuzu. you get the idea if change it enough its yours. anybody who disagrees can

Forget those haters. You know, it seems like you can never win, people will give you crap if you buy someone's ride and keep it as is - or if you buy it and try to make it your own. I look at it this way...you helped another mini trucker out by buying his truck (because we all know how hard it can be to sell one). Be proud when you're cruisin' in it and screw those who give you crap.
