explain this "plastic welding"

What i used was something like an epoxy...it came in 2 tubes that u mix together and it fuses the plastic...it gets real hot! but there are plastic welders out there that actually weld, but i didnt have one...

Plastic welding is freaking hard, I guess because there are so many different types of plastics. I bought a plastic welder to weld the top cap on my bumper back after I sectioned it. Well I have decided to build a new bumper instead of making the plastic work right, everytime I snapped the cap back into the bumper it would break at the weld.

i saw the new escalade front clip on a NBS the truck was blue i seen it when i was leaving heatwave this yr i dont have any pics it was sweet ass
