ps2 and moniter in s-10

i hooked up a ps2 and a 7 inch power acuistic moniter and when i turn on my ps2 i get iterference like static and blurred pic from the moniter please help me

you need to check the ground on the screen. make sure its a solid ground. make sure the playstation is not on the same power source as the screen. you can try an inline power filter, or try a video amp.

would it have any thing to do with that the ps2 is plugged into the wall in the garage??
