good call on the compressor, never had luck with em not mounted right side up!!! What about a simple bearclaw style latch to hold that down up front?? U could mount a release cable down at the base of the bed, near the ground or wheelwell to open the latch!?!?

my compressor is upside down under my truck never had any problems with it does most not work well when they are not right side up??

Ive burnt up a Viair 450 and a buddies burnt a Thomas 337, another had a 550 that was tryin act up...all these were mounted on there side

2 viair 450's mounted upside down for 3 years, no problems yet (course i've only driven about 2000 miles in those 3 years, was in the shop for 1 1/2 years)...

if the shocks wont lift the bed maybe use some lead in the back tube to help counter balance it maywork and use less psi to????????

thanks for all the compliments guys. I dont know how much I'd charge, this guys a good friend so he kinda got the homie hookup. someone suggested 3g's to 3500 for labor. Ill trade work for a tig welder! Im tryin to get my hands on one!

I don't think the problem is running them upside down. I think that when on the side the weight of the piston being pushed more towards one area would cause it to wear a bit faster. Upside down would be just like running it right side up. But I could be wrong.
