I feel so special Killer! Mutch like Brett when I was 14 or 15 there was a two tone Mazda droped on 15x8 KMC always parked at a house by my bus stop and I knew I had to have a lowerd ride (kinda dumb since I lived two miles down a dirt road) so I started by lovering all my models until my dad bought me a 86 nissan 720 that I proseded to slam and drag up and down that dirt road.

i grew up reading Hot Rod Magazine and Car Craft. I always liked how low the cars looked. I got into mini's because nobody in my town has one, I just wanted to build something different. i don't like to blend in very much. I was naming off different makes of cars when i was 2 years old! My uncle on my mom's side built models and got me into drag racing and hot rods when i was about 6 or 7. I grew up at my dad's dealership and my uncles thought hot rods and muscle cars were a waste of money so i dug them becuase it pissed them off and i thought i was funny. I like custom cars in general. i'm dislexic and it positve outlet for me to express my self. I've meet SOO many people how have helple me be more knowledge about and well rounded about every aspect of building a car. Customizing is a great way to meet people. Espically girls!

buddy of mine when i was younger (i was maybe 13-14 he had just turned 16) had a 97 or so s10, he had it for maybe a week and had a local tire shop slam it to the ground and put some 14" wire wheels on it. didnt really like the wire wheels but u couldnt drive that bitch anywhere without draggin it was so low. ever since that day i guess u could say ive thought everything looked better slammed. besides my first ride(4x4 explorer) everything ive owned since has been as low as i could get it. i now drive an s10 that lays frame on 20s. i bought it that way, (i know "built not bought" thats horse shit, gotta start somewhere) but like to rebuild the whole damn thing a piece at a time the way i want it hopefully learnin shit as i go. so thats my story.

I grew up around customs with my dad and mom, they had a van and went to van runs back in the day, then My uncle moved down the street from me and he did hydraulics on lowriders, and i wanted a toyota so bad, cause he did one that was sick! then i saw a sick ass s10 bodydropped to the doors parked in frontof the chevy dealer. I talked to the guy (doug) and he told me who built it. so I ended up going to that shop here in town and asked Bobby (from sadistic iron werks) and ken(from a shop that will remain nameless) when they were working together if i could help out to learn and they called me the next day, i started by taking apart front ends and helping with bags and plumbing, I moved up to tearing down a hardbody for bags and a bodydrop and I had to do it, so I bought a 89 s10 and started building it, then bought a 01 s10ext cab, and went crazy, I have built both of my trucks completly myself with tips from bobby and other friends and now I still have a long list of shit to do to it but i know it will happen, patience and dedication will get me there. I drove a right hand drive bd s10 at that shop and ever since then I wanted to do that to my old body s10. Im working on it, but for now I have my 01 daily driven bodydropped s10 with suicide doors and i am not looking back...

at first it was the needles, then once they switched me to morphine. i slowly started to come down. then got into the pills. but, after it was all said and done i think it was my first truck that really got me addicted. after i wrecked it getting head from a crack whore, i decided to stop all the bull shit and started to really work on my shit. seriously, its the friends, family and brotheR hood that is involved. i didnt get addicted until i went to my first show in the south. After that, i dont even care about driving my truck. Its all about hanging with the coolest people you will ever meet in your life. THAT IS WHAT I THINK TRUELY GOT ME ADDICTED!

I bought a 80's model toyota hilux (pickup)in the late ninetys and was using it to haul my construction gear around. The engine died and I surfed the net to find another engine and in that surfing came across www.streetsourcemag.com A few months later I was going to the then local Aussie club "dropzone" meetings and and had a truck or custom ever since and been in a minitruck club ever since... Much to my wifes disappointment
