dolphin glaze i looove that stuff

i NEVER block the fiberglass jelly/kitty hair filler. its a waste of time, i just put it in there to cover the weld thats it.

The only thing i don't think was covered is that you should grind (gently with 36 grit and a 5" air sander) down the Kitty hair/Fiberglass very thin. You really only need it in the welds. if you leave it too high it will cause you nightmares when your body filler gets sanded down and this stuff comes back through the surface. It sands harder than body filler and will cause you to undercut around it.

eh i just use 80 grit in a da, dont wipe it to thick and u wont have to grind it down that much.

i think dolphin glaze is a dirty south thing cause i have never seen it up here but when i went to florida thats all i used pre-primer. it does work great but 80 kills it too quick, i just used 180

Yeah ive never heard of Dolphine Glaze either. We use Kitty Hair.

dolphin glaze is a glazing putty, not fiberglass filler. u use it for spall pin holes. also works good on urethane.
