s10 questions

first of all, i'm going to build me a set of notches for my s10 out of 2x3x3/16 box tubing. i was wondering if anyone could tell me how wide a notch is at the bottom and top? also, what is the biggest rim that stock s10 arms can lay frame on? I'm thinking its 17's with drop spindles. thanks for any help.

15 inches wide at the outside bottom is what most notches are. You can lay an 18" rim with a 35 tire if you keep your fender wells, take out the wells and you can get a bigger tire in there, of course with drop spindles

thanx alot man i appreciate that. i wasn't wanting to go with bigger rims because im making it a daily driver.

i've got 18" rims with a 40 tire and mine won't lay right now, the tires hit the fenderwells. i'm working on relocating all that computer crap and getting trailer fenders, but right now no lay
