I run shocks all the way around and have Slam Bags all around also. I used to drive my truck on the freeway alot and if you don't get the PSI right, you do alot of "floating" down the freeway and I have it float enough to where it felt like it would hop (without shocks).. Only bad thing about running shocks on the front, if it isn't set up right you won't be able to lay out all the way becuase the shock isn't short enough. But if you got the Suicide kit, then I am sure that won't be a problem. What I would tell you... Try both ways. Try it with the shocks in at first for a while and then take them out and test it out that way. Then you will know exactly how your truck will behave with shocks and without.

i have re7's in the front with the 4.3 and no shocks.. it floats when i hit a wave of bumps on the highway, but other then that, it rides better then stock, but not as good as a shocked truck will ride. I cant ride as low as my friends who have shocks, b/c when i hit a bump, the truck mvoes more and i hit the ground, they dont.. so i'm putting shocks on myself, here soon.

i'd run shocks, it wont kill you if you dont, just a better ride. you can cut the arm to recess the shock in an inch, and you wont have any rubbing problems.

it will ride way better with shocks. i drove my truck a little bit right after i bagged it without shocks in the front and it was horrible.

first of all, slam bags are not magic, they are not special, and they for sure are not better than any other bag, so yes you should run shocks, it takes stress away from the bag and also provides a smoother ride, slows down and limits travel(usually in the rear) but the ride quality is excellent and it will actually increase the life of your bag, bushings in your arms, all that shit that moves everyday while driving down the road, as far as wherre to put them, im sure you have heard about the sweet spot like mentioned above, should be very close to the a arm right behind it and the wheel should clear fine when turning, if SD.com gave you some bullshit shock mounts, send em back and get either your money back and cry about it, or get a set from piston 14 as his do not interfere with turning radius. good luck

against popular belief shocks were put on from the factory for a reason and no matter what kind of bags you are running you will get a better ride with shocks.

maybe I put mine in the wrong spot but I lost alot of steering. I used the suicidedoors.com mounts. Does anybody have any pictures of where the "sweetspot" is?
