Smoke from the steering coloum??? HELP!!!

smells like maybe trans fluid or oil. But really smells like trans fluid. Thats what my friends are sayin too. I don't know though i didnt get a chance to look at it today but tomorrow definatly.

I was doing 80 in okc and i noticed smoke coming out of my steering column once. then my shit layed out next to a semi at random. I shorted out my ignition wire to my switch box. check to see if you have any wires melted.
