toyota pickup lifts

i have a 93 toyota 4x4. how big of a lift can i do before i need to extend brake lines and steering and all that? is it 4" or can i do a 6"? im pretty sure i can do a 4" without anything else. if i have to extend anything with a 6", what will i need to extend? whats the best kit you have found for a resonable price? thanx

i have a 90 yota with a 3in body lift and a 5in superlift with 38in tsl swampers the kit came with everything to extend the lines.cheapest i found was ntwonline.com
