yeah, its a good fit inside the tube, but i had to use a bolt that was 1/16" smaller than the holes so it will move up and down a little less than 1/16". if i can get the holes exactly centered i think i can use a bolt the same size as the holes so there will be no play in it.

just wondering but how would you mount that while keeping access to the adjustable holes

the plan was to weld it flat on the side of the frame with the bottom of the tube even with the bottom of the frame, with the bolt holes parallel to the frame. or, i could weld it the same way to a plate with holes in it, then bolt the plate to the side of the frame.

yeah a couple of peices of strap for tabs top and bottom or even a plate so you could weld it or bolt it to the frame and your golden. obviously thats a top few, but you prolly figured that out..lol

lets ee, it doesnt look like either of us have a problem laying body or frame, but when its doored you dont want to be fucking up door and bed lines, ets, in other words, when you have a 20thousand dollar truck thats worth 2k blue book value, you might want to put your ego and coolness factor aside and think about your investment. why do you think cover trucks are cover trucks, and UC trucks stay in UC(doesnt apply to all but...)

i think the ideas cool, seems convenient and better than bigass blocks/bars hangin down for sure. since titaniums a little expensive, would be kinda cool to even just have steel round stock refills.
