2-link question

i have a 2 link w/8 valves, i don't really care about side to side, i just wanted to be able to level it out if my fat ass tilts it, but when i go down to almost dragging, the passenger side goes lower. I really would have figured it'd be the other way around, but s10's are an inch lower on the driver's side than the passenger. And i have a friend who can hit side to side on a 2 link, he put mad grommets on the bushings and used really oversize rubber bushings, so when he hits side to side it wallers out the bushings instead of his frame.

How did you do that? with bushings at both ends your axle would roll backwards. You have to mount the back of a two link directly to your spring pads.
