I just turned 21 and live at home still. I live with my dad which is more like a roommate than a parent. So he pays the bills and i work 40 hrs a week. Make 1000 take home a month and ive got 1500$ in parts layin in my garage and my truck is still at stock height. Ive been saving and partially bringin in parts for about 5 months now and i am almost done i need about 500$ worth of parts still then i need someone to install em. I dont want to cut up my own truck cuz ive never done it. But i will help. But still just part it together because thats bout the only way its gonna get donna affordably is to save your money and pay cash. Intrest is a BITCH! Well good luck man. You aint the only one in that situation though. Im stayin at home long enough to bag my truck then ill move out. HAHA!

Yeah its not easy at all...I'm 16 years old and have loved truckin for years. Got a job when I was 15 and saved every paycheck for a year...Then about 4 months after my 16th birthday my dad co-signed a loan and now I have a Featured Sierra..Only thing is there is no such thing as going out to the mall and movies..all my money has to go to the bank to pay for the truck...Not saying its the smartest thing, but no matter what's wrong I can always walk outside and work on it or drive it and it takes my mind off the world...It's like my medicine...And Im in High School making 6 A's and 1 C haha..Lifes not easy but make the best of it man...

Holy fuck lol. I made $31,000/year living with my parents working for Sprint selling phones. Now I'm out on my own selling cars. The car business is one of the few places you can easily start making $50,000/year or more with no experience. Verizon also pays too... I've heard as much as $8k/month from people working at Verizon. I know my sales managers make $15,000/month with finance guys making the same or more. Maybe I'll be there one day and pay to bag everyone's rides lol.

WELL ONE DAY I WAS USING ONE OF THOSE CREDIT CARD THINGS TO CUT UP LINES OF YAY, WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT HIT ME, RATHER THAN USING MY NOSE AS A VACUUM AND USING ALL THIS I COULD SELL IT. NOW I HAVE A FREE PLACE TO STAY, I GET 3 SQUARE MEALS, AND FREE CLOTHES. PLUS THE STATES PAYING ME $.15/HR TO PICK UP TRASH A COUPLE HOURS A DAY, BUT WITH NO EXPENSES IT ADDS UP AND WHEN I GET TO DRIVE MY TRUCK IN 5-10 YEARS IT WILL BE WORTH IT.
