Trick of the Trade?

How are you all getting your cabs of when your doing a stock floor bd. Other than getting about 6 friends to help me lift it off I'm out of ideas. Kinda at a stopping point right now waiting on a time that everyone can comeover and help. Getting impatient

i've seen some use a lift

yeah but not everyone has access to one

we air the truck up to full hight and used jackes to get it up to saw horse hight. we put 2 horses on each side with 2X4s under the cab.and a jack on the core support. when the horses are in place lower the jacks and air the truck out 1/2" from the ground and roll it back . There should be room for the motor to go under the cab of under the core support. That or some really good friends cuz after it over you might not see them for awhile Ron

A-frame, some ingenuity, some long lenghts of steel, chain hoist, and some h/d ratchet straps

i just used some scissor jacks.

I went to the dagohba system and had yoda teach me how to levitate objects with the force.

(actually 4 friends and I used 2x2's through the window openings and hoisted it)

6 dudes is the easiest way

i would suggest a mechanical way over trusting people with the life of your truck, all it takes is 1 guy to trip over something, next thing you know you just totaled a truck in your garage.

or worse have ur truck burn down....
